I grew up as a first-generation Canadian with no-nonsense German immigrant parents. I’m a cheeky blend of European influence and Canadian warmth, fluent in flirting, deadpan comedy and making you feel like the only one in the room.

These days, I’m pursuing a degree in Philosophy, because minds are just as sexy as bodies, don’t you think? I can also usually be found deep in a book, usually by Tolstoy, Chekhov or Spinoza. I’m also a crossword pro, having done the NYT crosswords every day for a few years now.

However, don’t be fooled! I believe working out the body goes hand in hand with working out the mind. I love to lift weights, hike with friends and family (never beating the German allegations) and I’ve just started attending reformer pilates classes!

I’m naturally warm, curious (always asking why) and a great listener. I’m equally happy to get lost in deep conversation or sharing laughs and personal anecdotes over dinner.
